What to wear for Tahoe maternity session


People come to Lake Tahoe from all over the world to spend time with their families and enjoy the beauty of the lake and forests that surrounds it. No wonder it is a popular location for locals as well. It makes a perfect backdrop for family and maternity pictures.

Beach instantly calls for summery vibes and light colors. Shades of whites, light blues and pinks will all look good in your pictures, while beiges and greys may get lost within the scenery. They would be too close to the natural colors of the environment and your family will camouflage within it. On the other hand, very dark colors will create too much contrast and you may look out of place. What we are looking in a photo is balance. Balance and harmony between the nature and us. It is best to choose outfits that have calm colors, colors that are not too intense nor too dark. Pastel colors paired with shades of blue will be your best friend on the beach session!
