When Should You Book Your Newborn Photography Session?


The ideal time for newborn photos is typically within the first two weeks after birth. During this stage, babies are often sleepier and naturally settle into those sweet newborn poses.


Because due dates are unpredictable, I recommend reserving your newborn photographer session during pregnancy. I will reserve space around your due date, then adjust the session timing once your baby arrives. If your baby is already here, do not worry. Every stage is worth documenting, and beautiful newborn and baby portraits can be created beyond the first few weeks.
